I think know the parentals are drunk.
They've been at their friends house down the road because it's her birthday tomorrow today, and therefore are pretty very hammered.
First of all my dad came home about an hour ago. He had tried to disguise the fact that he'd been drinking by eating a mint before coming to say hello. It didn't work. I could still smell the whiskey.
He came up behind me and George, who have been sat on our computers downstairs all day listening to Insane Clown Possé and Godsmack, and said "how are my darling children".
Obviously drunk.
He began to say how proud of us he was and that we were lovely individuals when suddenly he realised he was sounding drunk and stopped. It was all part of the cunning disguise. He walked out of the room but not before saying "i just wanted to say that i love you both"..
Oh dear.
My mum, who arrived home about half an hour after my dad had gone to bed, was a completely different story.
She greeted us with a rather friendly "what the hell are you still doing up!?" followed by an equally lovely "get off those sodding computers!!!".
Charming.
She then complained a bit about her shoulder "it hurts when i'm sober and it hurts when i'm drunk, what the hell am i going to do?!"
And laughed when we mentioned that dad insisted he wasn't drunk.. "i'm not drunk! i'm completely sober!".
She then said "you're your own people aren't you, you bloody wastes of space!" and went to bed.
Well, they say opposites attract...
Anyway, i have to go. George needs moral support, he has only just realised that it is June. "SHIT! it's not April anymore!!".
In other news, Greg the sim has surppassed me in guitar playing skills. Remind me to introduce him to Mr. Flamethrower.
