I'm so happy!
It arrived on Friday morning (literally two days after being posted! Which means it made it from Oklahoma to my humble abode in under two days! Wooo!) and is the most spiffy thing ever! I'd just got back from work to find a huge box on my bed.. i managed to register this with my brain before i collapsed onto it, which would have hurt me quite a bit, and wouldn't have helped the guitar out very much.. and suddenly i was awake! We were going away for the weekend to Skegness to visit my grandad who lives there, so i have to pack, but not before i huggled my new yellow spiffy twang doodle! I couldn't just leave it there all weekend... so i managed to persuade my dad to stow it away in the boot of the car whislt we travelled..
The case is all fuzzy inside! I was hoping it would be, and willow is desperate to sleep in it.. but i figure that the cat hair would get stuck to the strings and stuff so it's not such a great idea...
But wow. I have to work out how to take pictures! Also, i have to send the guy's in America that sent me the guitar a souvenier... there was a mix up at the bank and stuff and they basically were amazingly-superly kind and sent me the guitar even though the bank had lost $30.. so if any of my American friends out there could tell me what would be a good gift to send, or what they think is typically English (that i could send.. so no food please) i'd be more than grateful!
Anywho, clocks went forwards so i feel like i'm missing an hour.. better get me some sleep before work tomorrow... yuk..
