Howdy doody everyone!
I've been drafted. Well ok it's not that serious, i've been asked to write a series of reviews for the New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich... they're paying for me to see plays and all they want is for me to write a little bit about each one of them! Plus they're going to be published along with a mini bio and a photo of my wonderful self (hah) in a local newspaper! Let's hope i'm not using up my 15 mins of fame doing this! It's great though, it's giving me the opportunity to become a published writer! I get the freedom to say what i think and show the world that i know long words, it's going to be fun!
In other news college is going really well! Distinctions everywhere i look. I swear, if i'd known it was this easy.... but then, i suppose it's only easy for me, some people would find it really hard to get up on stage and portray a character that is different to themselves.. i love this whole thing though, it's giving me a chance to do what i love doing and i'm showing everyone that i can do it well!
It's weird, but i'm actually feeling good about being me! I have good grades, a wonderful boyfriend, friends that are a joy to be with, amazing opportinities, nice clothes, a small amount of money and generally a pretty ok life in general! I like it when i feel good about myself, it means i can forget moping around being sullen and just get on with what needs to be done!
Speaking of what needs to be done, i have an essay to write so i guess i should get on with that.. plus i have a performance tomorrow, so i gotta practise some songs! I shall talkies soon
